The rectangular tray top is the star of the show — assembled from vertical strips of reclaimed solid wood planks, each one carrying a dramatically different layer of original paint. Turquoise blue, dusty blush pink, warm amber, olive green, dark espresso, and soft cream all run side by side in bold vertical bands across the tray surface, creating a vivid, painterly composition that looks like a piece of abstract art you happen to be able to eat breakfast on.
